Healing After Abortion
Without question, abortion can be one of the most traumatic experiences in a person’s life. Statistics estimate that close to 1 in 3 women of childbearing age have experienced an abortion. These women carry an incredible burden of silence and heartache while wearing smiles on their faces.

Many people struggle for years with repressed memories, guilt, shame, and depression. The truth is many women who have had an abortion suffer from symptoms of post-abortion grief and trauma. Most women feel they aren’t allowed to talk about their abortion experience because it was their “choice.”

As with any traumatic experience, many post-abortive women experience physical, emotional, and spiritual symptoms they may not realize are directly related to a past abortion.
